WEDDINGS

Celebrate your special day with a Non-Religious or  Humanist ceremony created especially for you

Many couples who wish to enter into a committed relationship without a religious ceremony feel the Register Office, which strictly controls what can be said and done does not offer enough to mark their special occasion.

You may wish to include hand fasting, candle lighting, a bell of truce, setting your vows in stone, ring warming etc. You may want to involve your family, children and friends to create the right atmosphere and reflect your personalities.

Your ceremony will be for you and all about you.  Your wedding or civil partnership ceremony will be written especially for you after we have discussed the kind of ceremony you want. Your ceremony can be held in a variety of places; in hotels, gardens, at home, village halls, on a hilltop etc. It does not have to be a registered venue. Your ceremony can be as traditional or as different as you wish, and I can guide you as to what has worked well in the past.

At the moment these wedding ceremonies do not form a legal marriage or civil partnership contract. Many couples visit the Register Office a day or two before their ceremony and most see the non-religious or Humanist ceremony as their 'real' wedding.

As a special keepsake you will receive a presentation copy of your script.

"The ceremony was just how I hoped it would be and received much praise about being personal and heartfelt. The way you delivered it was just perfect."

"Just wanted to say a big thank you for the part you played in our wedding this Saturday. We have had LOADS of compliments on the service, and we will both remember it for a long long time."

"Thank you so much for making our wedding so special and wonderful, allowing our dream ceremony to come true!"
